Our brand new Second Life Campus has already proven to be an excellent aid in developing the student community, and enabling online study from all corners of the planet!
By allowing students to interact with each other, enter into discussions about both academics and non-academics, and enabling them to meet on a regular basis, we have been able to create a virtual campus that emanates a sense of belonging, which we strongly believe is essential for all our students.
The Virtual Campus has brought around endless possibilities from a learning viewpoint. It has permitted us to host key-note speeches live where students can sit in a virtual auditorium and listen and even interact at the end of the speeches!
Horizons University is one of the only Universities in the world to currently offer entire course modules exclusively in Second Life, removing all geographic barriers from the learning process.
